I am a retired geologist with a passion for art. Born and raised in Brighton, Victoria, I developed an appreciation for nature and creativity after working in various remote outback locations for many years..
I like to experiment with different media and techniques in my art. I mainly use acrylics and mixed media to create paintings that feature vibrant colours and patterns. I also like to explore digital art, using the computer to create original paintings or to transform my photos and artworks into new compositions. Sometimes I combine both traditional and digital methods to produce unique pieces of art.
My abstract art is often influenced by the Australian landscape, especially the rock formations, textures and colours that I encountered during my geology career. I try to capture the essence and beauty of these natural elements in my art.
